Shaz Dixon opened Ponsonby Rd homeware store Styledirect in 2001, after working and traveling extensively in India sourcing wholesale clothing.
After 9 years on Ponsonby Road she closed that store to expand her "brand" and opened a series of Pop Up Shops to drive people to her web site.
Currently the shop is now only on line.
Shaz has a studio where she passionately refurbishes old furniture to modern new designs to sell online & also for clients. Refurnishing for customers all over NZ is a big part of the business these days as more & more people are wanting to bring their old unique pieces into modern day with new fabrics etc.
She has recently released a Vintage Stamp range designed with graphic artist Shann Whitaker. Using original vintage NZ stamps, all endorsed by NZ Post, they have created a range of cushions, tea towels, art blocks & large canvas art. This range will be available here on line in October.

Dixon, who has previous experience as a stylist, wanted to open a store with fashionable and contemporary design, without the excessive price tag. The shop reflects Dixon's own modern and eclectic taste, selling furniture, bedding, homewares, original artwork, refurbished retro furniture and more. Dixon loves to support local art and artists, and stocks a comprehensive range of original local art as well.
